With Tim’s performance always been at the forefront of his priorities, enjoying his passion and emotion for conducting has been more difficult. However, qualifying with a Licentiate from The Royal Schools of Music at the end of his Royal Marines Bandmasters course has given him many opportunities to embrace a different perspective to music performance, conducting many different combinations. Training with reputable conductors such as Marin Alsop, Tim Reynish, John Wilson and Malcolm Binney Tim has enhanced his rehearsal techniques and refined his raw emotion and enthusiasm for giving flamboyant concert performances.

Tim has had the pleasure of conducting at many different engagements, some in the presence of Royalty, including His Royal Highness Prince The Duke of Edinburgh, His Royal Highness Prince The Prince of Wales and His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, amongst many other heads of state and high ranking dignitaries.

In master classes, workshops and as a saxophone tutor he regularly rehearses and conducts smaller combinations, bringing out the best musicianship and enjoyment from those involved, whilst always emphasising the fun in the many different types of genre performed.
