From an early age Tim has been passing on his knowledge he has gained through various musical and sporting achievements.
Gaining his first two sets of performance qualifications from The Royal College of Music and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1994, he has been advising colleagues at various stages along his career path on saxophone performance and repertoire and, continues to pass on his experience in the many places he finds himself throughout the United Kingdom and further afield, through recitals, master classes, workshops and private tuition.

Promoting music as a fun way of learning, Tim has gained a vast amount of experience, skills and qualifications in many musical fields, working with musicians of all standards and age groups. Tim combines all his diploma and degree knowledge in Theory Criticism and Literature, harmony, history, conducting, psychology and performance to offer students the all- round package and learning experience.

All of Tim’s students came out with first classes honours degrees in 2014/2015, however, he tutors at all levels and over the last four years has been more involved with therapeutic and educational tuition and mentoring for students countering challenges within their own lives and requiring help with special educational needs.
